The Grand Tour of Morocco from Casablanca or Marrakech, is an immersion, the means to know Morocco from each of its sides: those of its geography, its history, and finally its populations. Explore the major historical sites and natural wonders of Morocco, whilst revealing its cultural diversity.
ITINERARY
Day 1: MARRAKECH or CASABLANCA
At arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT.
Day 2: MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA - RABAT –FEZ
BREAKFAST. Direction to Casablanca through the beautiful city of Settat, Panoramic visit including the Mohamed V and the united Nations places, Corniche promenade and the Hassan II mosque from outside, continue to the Imperial city of Rabat, capital of the Kingdom of Morocco since 1912. upon arrival, city tour including Royal Palace from outside, mohamed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower and Udayas ruis, free time for lunch (not included) and then to the imperial city of Fez. DINNER AND ACCOMMODATION.
Day 3: FEZ
BREAKFAST. full day to know Fez. Visit of the golden doors of the Royal Palace, the old Medina with its Medersa Bou Anania, the Nejjarine fountain one of the most beautiful in the medina, the Karaouyin Mosque that houses one of the main cultural centers of Islam and the headquarters of the University of Fez, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idris, the famous tanners' neighborhood, unique in the world. Time for lunch (not included). Afternoon, continue visiting Fez, with its artisan neighborhoods divided by guilds. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT.
Day 4: FEZ – MEKNES – MIDELT – ERFOUD
BREAKFAST. Departure to Meknes, visit of the city of Moulay Ismail, starting with the walls with its magnificent doors like Bab Manssur, Bab Khamis and then to Ifrane, a small mountain town known for its famous ski resort. After a brief stop, Continue through the gentle mountains of the Middle-Atlas, until we reach the city of Midelt. Free time for lunch (not included) .Continuation along a beautiful route of Berber life, Arrival in Erfoud, on the edge of the great Sahara desert. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT.
OPTIONAL 1 (NIGHT ON THE DUNES OF SAHARA)
Excursion by off road vehicle to Merzouga with possibility to spend a night in a Berber camp, at the foot of the fabulous sand dunes of Erg Chebbi .Discover the magic of the Sahara- Dinner and night under Bereber camps, The next day, by camel ride, you can enjoy the incredible show to enjoy a magnificent sunset, unique and impressive scenery.
OPTIONAL 2 EXCURSION TO THE DUNES WITHOUT NIGHT
Possibility of an interesting excursion by 4X4 to enjoy a magnificent sunset, dromedary ride and return to Erfud to spend the night
Day 5: ERFOUD – TINEGHIR – TODGHA GORGES –“ ROUTE OF THE KASBAHS” – KELLA M´GOUNA – OUARZAZATE
BREAKFAST. Departure to Tinerhir, the most beautiful natural places , visit the Todgha Gorges and Free time for lunch (not included) Afternoon, depart on the “Road of the Kasbah “ through the beautiful Dades Valley with its terraced fields and Kelaa M’gouna. The region is know for its garden of roses. Continuation to Ouarzazate, the town is considered now as a “ Holly Wood” since many international films have been produced in this area. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT .
Day 6: OUARZAZATE – KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
BREAKFAST. Visit of the “ KasbahTaourirt" In other times the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. Discover the interior of the same where the rooms of the pacha, the places of the favorites stand and continue to the famous Kasbah of AIT BEN HADDOU. “UNESCO World Heritage Site” Free time for lunch (not included). Afternoon, continuation of the trip back to Marrakech. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT
Day 7: MARRAKECH
BREAKFAST. Sightseeing tour of Marrakech including Menara Gardens, the majestic minaret of the Koutoubia, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville. Visit the Bahia palace, an example of the Muslim Middle Ages, where the ambassadors' room stands out with its roof in the form of an inverted ship. Souks and the magical place: Jemaa el F´nna Square (People's Assembly), declared a World Heritage Site. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT.
Day 8: MARRAKECH or CASABLANCA
BREAKFAST. departure transfer and END OF OUR SERVICES.
