Immerse yourself in the most beatifull part of the Moroccan sahara desert During this 8 day tour, we will start from Marrakech and cross the high Atlas Mountains, the Tizi N tichka pass, then we will go to spend the night in bereber camp in Mhamid Dunes, we ride camels and we will visit mysterious villages and Kasbahs.
ITINERARY
Day 1: MARRAKECH
At arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT.
Day 2: MARRAKECH
BREAKFAST. Sightseeing tour of Marrakech including Menara Gardens, the majestic minaret of the Koutoubia, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville. the Bahia palace, the Souks and the magical place: Jemaa el F´nna Square (People's Assembly), declared a World Heritage Site. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT.
Day 3: MARRAKECH – ZAGORA - M´HAMID DUNES
BREAKFAST. Departure by 4X4 vehicles through the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi´nTichka Coll of 2,660 meters high, discovery of the fascinating verdant Draa valley with its numerous palm groves. Time for lunch (not included) and continue to Zagora. Famous crossroads and place of departure of most expeditions to the heart of Africa. The famous poster "Tombuctu 52 days from Camel" is at the end of the main street. We cross lunar landscapes to the foothills of the dunes of M´Hamid. Where our dromedaries await us, who will bring us to our camp for 20 minutes. Night under the Bedouin camp. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT
Day 4: M´HAMID – TAMEGROUTE – ZAGORA – OUARZAZATE
At Sunrise, before the appearance of the first ray of the sun, our staff will awaken you to raise as much as you can to the dunes to receive the first rays in the desert, is a unique and unforgettable experience. BEREBER TYPICAL BREAKFAST. By 4×4 drive to Tamegroute .. Sacred place of Islam, to be in it, an ancient library that collects books of the Coran . Continue on tracks, following the longest palm grove in the world (150 km) , visit the mysterious villages and Kasbahs until we reach the town of Tansikht. Technical stop and departure to Agdez dominated by the Kissane Mountain , where you will visit the fortified town of Tamnougalt and its Kasbah dating from the 16th century.Time for lunch, (not included) and departure to Ouarzazate, . DINNER AND OVERNIGHT
Day 5: OUARZAZATE – KASBAH DE TAOUIRIRT -KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
BREAKFAST. Visit of the Kasbah Taourirt which used to be the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. Visit the interior of the same and the favorites room , then you will discover the gigantic village of Ait Ben Haddou with its famous Kasbah. It has been classified as “World Cultural” heritage Site by UNESCO. Time for lunch (not included). Afternoon, continuation of the trip back to Marrakech. DINNER AND OVERNIGHT.
Day 6 & 7: MARRAKECH
BREAKFAST. Free days to enjoy the beauty of this city. Possibility to make optional excursions, such as the Ourika Valley or Essauira or the eternal show of “Fantasia Show”; in the restaurant "Chez Ali" DINNER AND OVERNIGHT.
Day 8: MARRAKECH
BREAKFAST. Departure transfer and END OF OUR SERVICES.
